2023 Internship Program
Howard County is committed to providing internship opportunities for students who are currently enrolled in a bona fide educational program sponsored by a college or university and for which the students are eligible to receive college credit and/or gain practical experience for the internship.
Recreation and Parks offers a variety of internships in various divisions within the Agency.

2. If an internship opportunity is available, the candidate will be contacted via email to schedule an interview.
3. If accepted as a Recreation and Parks intern, the intern will be required to:
- Complete the Internship Application
- Create a Volunteer Profile
- Undergo a Criminal Background Check/Finger Printing
Note: Internships are unpaid positions; Please state in your cover letter whether you are applying for a school year or summer internship.
